When it comes to teaching, sometimes a picture's worth a thousand words, and that's where the big board comes in play.
This one I made from a standard whiteboard, my daughter helped me draw that up, but you can buy them.

For the magnets, there are these packs of magnets I have linked.
They come in lots of... a whole bunch of them in a pack so that one falls off at some point in the field, you can always just quickly replace it.
I've got these waterproof stickers to put the numbers on.
I also have brought a different set that are all multicolor.
I've got a whole bunch of these, which is great for when you want to either highlight something like you'll see on my board, I have a couple in orange and things like that.
When I want to highlight particular positions in my formation, like maybe it's a double pivot, a pair of sixes, or maybe I want to highlight the two wingbacks or fullbacks.
You can pop different colors on to highlight that when you're moving it with your team.
It's fantastic For the younger ages, or on the sidelines, I also like to have a smaller one, and what's a beauty about that is my kids, especially
when they're younger, they just love to play with it, and make their own formations.
I can't find it in the house.

This one's great, it's small, it's magnetic.
It is double sided. You can write it with a dry erase marker.
For the magnets, again, I have them linked, but I have these small ones here, little metal ones, black and white, and what's nice is they're really the sticky ones, so they stick on,
but nice and cheap and small for that smaller one. great to have that visual on the sideline without having that always erase with the dry erase marker.
