Continuing on the training gear, no coach can have enough cones, and I've got four different types of cones that I love to use.
First, we've got the typical mini cones, and then the next slice up, a little bit bigger cone for different things.
Make sure, honestly, if you're looking for this, the ones that are linked has it, I like the ones with the strap.
This is my son's set, my set has a little bit longer strap.
It's great to throw over your shoulder.
But you can't go wrong. You can never have enough training cones in your bag.
Now, I also coach futsal in the winter, but also, I find these can be helpful outside, especially on turf, and that is the flat disks.
They lay flat, they stay on the surface, I've got them in multicolors.
I just grabbed this one out of my bag.
A great way to, if you're just indicating position, starting positions for drill, and you don't want it to get in the way then this is the thing.
The complete opposite of not getting in the way, are traffic cones.
This is an 18 inch, 16 inch traffic cone, set a 10 I have linked in the description.
I love these things because my kids hate them.
Why do they hate them? Because they can't cheat the drill.
Ball doesn't roll over them. They have to go around them, they get in the way, and that's exactly what I want with these.
I use them for drills, I use them as training sticks or agility sticks.
They have to get around them.
I use them as stand ins for defenders, or even goalkeepers sometimes to focus their attack.
They make great sets of goals if you're not going to use the whole pug net thing, which you can spend a fortune on pug nets and you buy them every two years because they break.
These are not going anywhere, and they're heavy, they don't go anywhere.
So this is one of my secret weapons, one of these!
