If you want to, maybe learn a little bit more stuff or your coach loves to read, I got some books.

I've recommended this a million times.

I recommend it every time. If you coach girls, whether or not you have have girls yourself, even if you are a woman coach, which I honestly, we

need more of, this book, How to Coach Girls.

It's tiny, it's thin, written by a couple of women coaches.

It is fantastic to help just understand the differences, especially if you've come from coaching just boys or men differences that can make you more successful and make them more successful.

I've got this book recently, Two Versus One, a great book that basically breaks the game down into a series of 2v1 motions all over the field, great from grassroots all the way to academy level.

Some of it's a little bit high level, but it's got lots and lots of examples, drills, concepts, narrative, really enjoying this one right now.

Touching upon something that happened in my last video where I gave you one drill setup and you could use it three different ways, this book takes it to the extreme.

There's 12 different setups in this book, and then for each setup, he's got 10 to 12 different drills to go with that.

It's only available, it seems at Amazon UK, but again, links in the description.

Great idea to just think about like, hey, how can I set up a couple of standard setups and then use them over and over again for my kids to make the whole practice process go faster?

If you coach younger kids, David Baird out of Scotland, and his Scoreboard Soccer is a fantastic book, just the way his concept of trying to catch the kids doing

good things and reward that, and then what he uses on the sideline to create these scoreboards.

Fantastic ideas. So if you're coaching younger kids prek through two, although some of the concepts, you can take this all the way to academy level Great book, great coach, great website.

Lastly, one of the things I've been learning more and more about is ecological method or constraining practices to deliver certain... or force certain things that happen.

This coach here, Marcus DiBernardano, I hope I got that right.

I has a website and a good little book that he self published, and has some great ideas and drills in it to help you just kind of visualize

and think about this idea of, if I put a restriction on a game, can I force a certain behavior to be reinforced so that we can work on it and then take it in the bigger picture?

So constrained based games - a great idea.

Lastly, if you're not a member of United Soccer Coaches, please think about doing it. 75 bucks gets you a year's worth of fantastic stuff, access to a lot of great online courses.

But one of the things they publish every year about August is this Preseason Journal - 275 different activities, drills, from Pre-K through college and pro.

So if you're looking for a drill idea or a session idea, it's a great resource to have, and it comes along with all the other perks of the United Soccer Coaches.

I've got like six, seven, eight of these things, and I use them all the time when I'm looking for a particular idea.
