And after that my kids got the third or fourth grade, I no longer wanted to stand in a net without a pair of gloves on.
Just they kick it too hard, too soon.
I've seen too many coaches with dislocated fingers and such.
So I've had this pair of Brine forever.
I wouldn't recommend somebody going out and buying these.
They're pretty expensive. I've got them on sale at one time, but these are like $100 gloves.
However, I have two brands that I've had tremendous success with, and my sons have, because I've both played keeper, one at a pretty high level early on.
For adults and larger sizes, this Renegade brand is fantastic.
This glove here is a good four years old.
You can see there's a little wear in the palm.
Again, this is a backup pair because my son now plays in the field, and most of this is probably from the Velcro strap or turf, but every once in a while he
has to jump in net, but these things have lasted.
He's gone through two or three pairs of these over a long period of time.
Great brand. For younger kids, for smaller sizes, this Obbson brand is just as good quality.
It's not like those really bad, floppy gloves that Adidas sells and some other sells.
These also, like these big versions, have finger saves to help them keep the fingers from bending backwards.
They have a little bit more flexibility.
This glove is a good three and a half years old.
When my son would wear it, then his teammates would wear it when he came out of goal halfway through.
Fantastic brand. Good sizing. If you want to even just upgrade what you have in your bag for your kids to wear, a couple pair of these will last you a good long time.
