In terms of training gear, coaches can never have enough training bibs, or pinnies, or whatever you might call them.
And so I found a great 12 pack online, and I bought them a couple of years ago.
They've held up through my boys abusing the bejesus out of them.
They go through the washer and the dryer, a great pickup.
But something different that I saw online that I gave a try are actually these colored headbands.
These are just terrycloth headbands, they have a look that I'm not proud of, even being a child of the 70's.
But when I tell you, my kids thought this was the best thing since sliced cheese, like they lost their minds. My 6th grade boys are like, "This is awesome!"
The idea behind this is when they wear these in your scrimmages, instead of wearing training bibs, it forces them to look up a little bit more.
There's been some research out there, and I've had a great effect effect with it, but let me tell you, the kids think this is the bomb, because they hate wearing the pinnies.
So maybe think about some colored headbands and give that a shot!
