Hopefully your organization provides you with some, but even if they do, tends to never be enough.
And if you're coaching and you volunteer, you probably have a kid, as well, so this could be a kid. gift and a yard gift. either way, I'm kind of a nut about soccer balls.
I really look for the quality, I measure and weigh every single ball that's come through my house in the last eight years, I have a whole spreadsheet on it.
Yes, that's a sickness. And this year, one of the balls that I tested, and I've seen a lot of the coaches using is this Puma orbiter 3.
You have to be careful with the numbers.
So the higher the number, the lesser of the quality of the ball.
So 3, it seems to be that sweet spot of price in the $30 or $40 range This happens to be an NFHS rated ball, which is the National
Federation of High School Sports. NFHI's balls tend to be hard as a rock in terms of feel, especially when it gets cold.
This ball is not. It's got great padding, it's got great durability, great feel, it's the right size, it's the right weight.
Love these. If you want a higher quality ball, the orbit of 2 or the orbita match or in the 50 and $60 range, this is obviously in the Premier League colorway.
My MLS next U 17 sign is incredibly particular about soccer balls, and he has given this one a thumbs up, so you know it's a decent ball
Lastly, I think they've falling out a favor of a little bit with the kids because of the Premier League and all the other leagues aren't using anymore.
But the Nike strike of the Nike Academy ball is a fantastic ball, rightweight, right size, great touch.
And it lasts forever. They had some problems with the valves in the 2020s, but I have some of these balls that are seven years old, they've been left outside,
New England winters all year round, and I still drag them around.
So if you need to get a bunch, you can get these as well, and they're a fantastic ball.
